Analysis
Leonardo Da Vinci was an ideal Renaissance man because the art work he produced exemplified some of the important Renaissance ideals. The ideals that his work showed are individualism, classicism, secularism, and realism. Individualism is the thought that someone can be different from the church and be unique. Classicism is the influence of the Greeks and Romans in art. Secularism is not related to religion or God. Realism is something that looks to be realistic that has perspective and realistic colors. The works that Leonardo Da Vinci did that show these major Renaissance values are Mona Lisa, Ginevra de' Binci, and Last Supper.

The Renaissance was a time of great creativity and a time of learning and thinking when many new ideas were introduced. Leonardo Da Vinci's works represented the ideals of individualism, classicism, secularism, and realism. Through his works, one can see that Leonardo di Ser Piero da Vinci was the quintessential of a Renaissance man.
